Victory Road
A view of Victory Road, with the spiralling path and dome shape, towering over the trainers, rocky terrain and path towards the Elite Four.
Victory Road is a massive domed, cave-like pathway located past Roria League. With a staircase followed by a spiralling path, there are numerous trainers to battle. The cave scenery resembles that of Fluoruma City, with bright crystals and plants along the rocky path. Two blocked caves, one with an hourglass and another with a ball of light, can be seen towards the top. Further down the path, there is a lake where you can fish, before reaching the Elite Four.
Notable Places
Blocked Caves
At the top 'ring' of the Victory Road path, there are two blocked off caves. Outside of one, an archaeologist points out that there was once history behind the caves, that caused them to be blocked off. What may be inside of these caves is unknown; however, outside of one cave seems to be two bright orb like structures that resemble Space. The other cave has two hourglasses outside of it resembling Time. There is also a glyph above each cave, although their exact meaning remains unknown
These may be referring to the Space and Time Pokemon, Dialga and Palkia, which are first hinted in the Desert Catacombs where there is text representing Space and Time. For now, however, the caves are blocked off.
The Pond
The Pond, with Fisherman Sebastian standing in front of it.
After continuing to follow Victory Road's path after the halfway point, a small pond can be seen, with a fisherman that you have to battle. You cannot surf in this pond, but it is clear water where Wild Pokemon live in - some newer Pokemon can be found in this pond, such as Arrokuda or Wimpod. In the background of the pond is what appears to be a little waterfall.
