Bug Type

Type Navigation:
Normal Fire Water Electric Grass Bug Flying Fighting Ice Rock Ground Poison Psychic Ghost Dragon Dark Steel Fairy

The Bug type is one of the 18 Pokémon elemental types. Many Pokémon that belong to this type evolve quickly. Caterpie, Weedle and Wurmple evolution families are the most recognized examples, evolving at Level 7 and reaching final form at Level 10. This makes them the earliest evolutionary lines to reach their final form among all Pokémon that have 3 stages and evolve by levelling up.

Bug-type Pokémon are statistically known to be weak in their overall base stats, and many different types resist Bug-type moves. Powerful Bug-type attacks are also rather scarce, yet they can still be used to deal with Grass, Psychic and Dark-type Pokémon.
