How to earn LP
Every way to earn Looao Points: quests, chests, gamenights, contests, tournaments and the server XP leaderboard.

Looao Points are the PBF Discord's currency: you earn them by being around, and you spend them in the Looao Shop on Pokémon, items and Ro-Powers. This page is the full list of ways to earn them.
Quests — the steady income
The most reliable source by far. Clearing all five daily quests pays somewhere around 8–13 LP a day, and the weekly board pays more on top for bigger goals with more time to finish them. Most quests don't involve competing with anyone, which makes them the natural starting point if you just want LP to build up while you play. Open =quests each day to start your board — quests only track once it's open — and the announcement explains how it all works.
Chests & streaks
Every chest contains
LP, whatever else it rolls. You get a chest for each daily All-Clear, one every 5 streak days, and one for full-clearing the weekly board — and chests can also drop LP boosts, which multiply your quest and server earnings while they run. The Chest Handbook has the details.
Gamenights
The easiest one: just showing up to a gamenight earns you 1 LP, and winning pays several more depending on the game. They're hosted often, so attendance adds up faster than you'd think. Keep an eye on the events channels.
Contests
Contests run less often than gamenights but pay better placements. Art contests are the most common, usually seasonal — winning one earns LP, the Artist role in the server, and sometimes extras like
Bottle Caps.
PvP tournaments
Tournaments from the PvP Department pay the most LP in one go — and they're the hardest to win, since the bracket is full of strong players. If you're confident in your team, this is the fastest route to a big balance.
The server XP leaderboard
The most active chatters in the server get paid for it. Land in the top 10 of the XP leaderboard for the week or the month and LP comes your way:
| Place | Weekly | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | ||
| 2nd | ||
| 3rd | ||
| 4th–5th | ||
| 6th–10th |
Streak Rank — the quiet multiplier
Keeping a streak alive pays twice. Beyond the chests, every 5-day milestone raises your Streak Rank, a standing percentage added to every quest reward you claim, climbing to a cap the longer the streak runs. It resets with the streak, which is exactly why the
Streak Freezes the climb hands out (one per 10 days, two in the bank) matter — they spend themselves to cover a missed day so the Rank survives.
A note on boosts
LP boosts from chests multiply what you earn while they're active, and only the strongest one applies at a time. If you pop one, that's the moment to go clear your board. Boosts and Streak Rank stack, and fractions are never rounded away — small percentages bank up and pay out in full LP as they accumulate.
