What it looks like in motion — a mega evolution, a hit that takes half a health bar, and a timeline you can drag through.
And here is one you can actually drive — not a mock-up of the player but the player itself, running a real battle off the ladder. axqlq and animegamerguy34036 were both near the top of the ratings when they fought this one, and it went the way the seeding says it shouldn't. Scrub it, step through it a line at a time, or slow it down and watch the damage land.
Everything in there is live: the battle log beside the field, both benches with everything each side brought, and the card behind every sprite — hover one. It is the same component the replay page mounts, so what you just used is what you get.
Every Pokémon either side brought — not just the ones that made it onto the field — with levels, abilities and held items.
Hover any Pokémon for its card: types, ability, item, base stats, boosts and the moves it has shown.
Hides the winner, the team preview and anything the battle hasn't shown you yet, so a shared link stays a surprise.
Save the battles worth keeping and file them into groups of your own from the Saved tab.
The Players panel links each side to their site account, and every replay counts its views.
Send-outs and hits play their real audio, with one linked volume-and-mute control that remembers where you left it.
Finding the one you want
Battle Replays in your dashboard opens on every public battle on the ladder. Narrow it to rated or unrated, singles or doubles, then sort by what you actually came for — the newest battles, the most-watched ones, or the highest-rated players on the site. Try it:

Who can watch your battles
Battles are public by default — that's what makes a ladder worth studying. Two things make one private instead: either player having replay privacy switched on in their settings, or spectating being off when the challenge was set up. Flip the switches and watch the verdict change:
A private replay is visible to the two players and nobody else. Either of them can publish it — from the share button on the replay itself — and that is a one-way door: once a battle is public, it stays public.
