Trainers who battle you again whenever you talk to them, best first. Pick EXP or money, say what you bring, and the list works out one win.
EXP for each foe is 1.5 × its base EXP × its level ÷ 7, rounded down, times 1.5 for a Lucky Egg, 1.5 for a traded Pokémon and 2 for the EXP Boost. The number shown is what one Pokémon gets for beating the whole team.
Unlike the main series, PBF does not split EXP between the Pokémon that fought: each of them gets the full amount. With the EXP Share on, every Pokémon that stayed on the bench gets half.
Money is the level of the trainer's last Pokémon × the trainer class's base payout, times 2 for an Amulet Coin or 1.5 for a Luck Incense (the two do not stack), and 3 for the Money Boost. The item works only if the Pokémon holding it is sent out in the battle.
Rematches have no wait and no limit: talk to the trainer again after a win. Teams stay at the same levels, after the champion too. Café Manager Zach at Sawsbuck Coffee is the one exception: once a day, for a fixed $2,600, with a team that grows with your badges.
